Moien Rangzan
PhD Candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry Jena

Moien Rangzan has a background in Electrical Engineering and Remote Sensing. He is an IMPRS PhD candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry and Friedrich Schiller University Jena, under the supervision of Joachim Denzler, Gregory Duveiller, and Markus Reichstein. His research focuses on domain generalization and invariant feature learning for naturalness mapping.
 
His broader research interests lie in Deep Learning, Remote Sensing, and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), with a growing focus on the development and application of foundation models for Earth observation.
