PhD Candidate in the Computer Vision Group, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Friedrich Schiller University Jena

Ihab has a background in Electrical Engineering and Control Theory. He is currently a PhD candidate in the Computer Vision Group at Friedrich Schiller University Jena under the supervision of Prof. Joachim Denzler. His research focuses on fairness, robustness, and stable feature learning in deep neural networks under distribution shifts.
His work spans image classification and semantic segmentation, with a focus on improving generalization and reliability in real-world applications, including medical imaging and other AI systems where robustness and bias mitigation are critical.
