Dr. Lu Tian
Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry Jena
Lu is a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry (MPI-BGC) in Jena, Germany. Her research focuses on understanding long-term land-atmosphere interactions and their influence on ecosystem carbon and water cycles. Specifically, she investigates the emergent patterns of functional relationships within vegetation ecosystems using the hybrid model, while also working to capture and quantify the cross-scale impacts of climate extremes (e.g., droughts) on the vegetation.
