ELLIS Sites ICML Fest 2026

June 25, 2026: Our event took place as part of the decentralised ELLS Sites ICML Fest

As part of the ELLIS – European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems Sites ICML Fest 2026, the ELLIS Unit Jena hosted its local ICML Poster Fest at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, bringing together researchers, students, and members of the local AI ecosystem to celebrate recent advances in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
The event showcased posters from our team members and collaborators presenting their latest work accepted at leading international conferences, including the International [ICML] Int’l Conference on Machine Learning (2025, 2026), the ICLR International Conference on Learning Representations (2025, 2026), the Conference on NeurIPS Neural Information Processing Systems (2025), the International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV 2025), the Conference on Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence (UAI 2025), the IEEE Winter Conference on Applications of Computer Vision (WACV 2026), the European Geosciences Union (EGU) (2025, 2026), and the Causal Bayesian Conference (CBC 2026).
While temperatures outside climbed well above 30°C, the atmosphere inside remained pleasantly cool and filled with vibrant scientific discussions, exchanges of ideas, and new connections.
