Dr. Jonas Wahl
German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and University of Bergen

Jonas is a mathematician and heads the Causal Models and Representations (CaMoRe) research group at German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). He is also a part-time research professor in AI and Causal Analysis at the University of Bergen. His research focuses on causal modelling, Bayesian inference, and structure learning, combining data and expert knowledge for scientific and industrial applications. Before joining DFKI in 2025, he worked with Jakob Runge on climate informatics at TU Berlin and the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Institute of Data Science Jena.
